[FOIL] ABSOLUTE BATMAN #23 MARCO MASTRAZZO EXCLUSIVE VIRGIN VAR (08/12/2026)

I spent $115 on a 3 set Absolute Batman Marco Mastrazzo cover, Trade, Variant & Foil. The Trade came perfect. The Foil came with minimal front cover edge fold, which makes this book an automatic 9.6 to 9.4 when grade. The Virgin cover’s back side came with major printing paper rubs. These are not your random weekly trade. These books are highly collectible exclusives and expensive books. The QA department should be more vigilant to remove flawed books from shipments.

Much darker than i anticipated. You could not enjoy the artwork because the foil was so dark

Overall good books

My books came damaged in the mail, and instead of refunding me or replacing the books I was told that there was nothing they could do and I needed to file a claim with the post office. I then made a post about poor customer service on instagram and tagged unknown comics and they proceeded to block me.

Looks great and fits perfect in the collection.

The Scott comic arrived with possible manufacturing stains on the front cover. Once again, modern age comics in 2026 should be 9.8 or better not 9.2 or better. The materials used to create comics now are beyond better than 5+ years ago. No reason not to give buyers the most perfect copy. If publishers/printers/distributors are passing you damaged books, then demand a refund and stop passing your less desirable copies on customers...especially, long time, faithful, returning customers.
